Washington, DC High School Basketball - Roosevelt overwhelms Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering

The Roosevelt Roughriders basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers to 14 in the Roughriders league triumph on Friday.
The Roughriders now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they host McKinley Tech for a DCSAA game on Monday, January 27. Roosevelt will play a Trainers team coming off a 47-33 league win over Anacostia (Washington, DC). The Trainers record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Banneker (Washington, DC) to play the Bulldogs in a DCSAA game on Monday, January 27. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 11-3. Banneker lost 65-43 in their recent non-league game against Western (Baltimore, MD)
