The Poland Knights defeated the host Wells Warriors basketball squad by a final score of 42-29 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next, the Knights clash with the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Poland will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record. The Falcons come into the outing with a 9-7 record after their 42-37 non-league win over Maranacook (Readfield, ME).
The Warriors (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Capers come into the B South outing with a 1-13 record. In their last outing, Cape Elizabeth was defeated by Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME), 35-12, in a non-league outing.
