The Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs basketball squad (Sumner, NE), was crushed 60-27 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Silver Lake Mustangs (Roseland, NE)

With the victory, Silver Lake advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE) to meet the Falcons in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 12-5. Wilcox-Hildreth lost 39-34 in their recent non-league battle against Amherst (Amherst, NE)

The Mustangs now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ansley/Litchfield for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. Sumner-Eddyville-Miller will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 50-40 non-league loss to Overton (Overton, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 5-12.
