In Friday's league contest, the visiting University Prep Panthers basketball team scored a big 61-10 triumph over the University Prep Science & Math Cobra.

The Panthers (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Edison Academy (Detroit, MI). The Pioneers go into the Freelance contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Edison Academy smashed Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 58-49, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cobra battle the Voyageur Academy Cougar (Detroit, MI) in a Charter contest, on Friday, January 31. University Prep Science & Math will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Cougar go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 31-29 non-league win over Rose Leadership Academy (Detroit, MI).
