The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO), observed The Vanguard School's basketball team overwhelm La Junta by a score of 53-13.
The Coursers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Pueblo East was routed by Skyview (Thornton, CO), 44-14, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) in a challenge, on Saturday, February 1. La Junta will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
