The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) and the visiting Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA), observed Woodside's basketball team knock off Westmont by a tally of 34-19.

The Wildcats now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to San Mateo for a bout on Wednesday, January 29. Woodside will play a Bearcats team coming off a 24-22 league loss to Sequoia (Redwood City, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-15.

With the loss, Westmont falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to play the Saints in a bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 5-6.
