In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Powers Catholic Chargers ice hockey team scored a close 4-3 triumph over the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets.
The Chargers (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 7-10 record.
In their next game, the Eaglets battle the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes (Bloomfield Hills, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. St. Mary's Prep will attempt to better on its 15-4 season record. The Cranes come into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 league win over De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI).
