The Byron Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs to 47 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mooseheart for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Byron will confront a Red Ramblers team coming off a 45-29 non-league loss to Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Red Ramblers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Genoa-Kingston falls to 15-4 on the campaign. The Cogs host Somonauk (Somonauk, IL) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 0-1.
