The Digital Pioneers Academy Pythons basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions to 28 in the Pythons league triumph on Friday.

The Pythons now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Surrattsville for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Digital Pioneers Academy will confront a Hornets team coming off a 40-22 league loss to Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Washington Latin Public Charter School falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Lions host Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC) to confront the Knights in a game on Monday, January 27. The Knights go into the game with a record of 8-3. Friendship Collegiate Academy lost 64-42 in their recent non-league game against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA)
