Colorado High School Basketball - Flatirons Academy nips Dawson School

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Flatirons Academy Bison (Westminster, CO) and the visiting Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO), saw Flatirons Academy's basketball squad hold off Dawson School by a tally of 59-54.

With the victory, Flatirons Academy improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bison host Denver Jewish Day (Denver, CO) to play the Tigers in a 1A 5280 challenge on Thursday, January 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Denver Jewish Day won 83-31 in their recent league challenge against Beth Eden Baptist (Wheat Ridge, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Nederland Panthers (Nederland, CO) in a test, on Wednesday, January 26. Dawson School will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record.
