The New London Whalers (New London, CT) basketball knocked off the host Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT), 59-49 in Tuesday's league test.
The Whalers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Amistad (New Haven, CT). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Amistad notched a victory over Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT), 87-41, in a non-league test.
The Colonels now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Prince RVT for a non-league test on Thursday, January 27. Ledyard will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 80-55 league win over Goodwin RVT (New Britain, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 8-2.
