The Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA) basketball knocked off the host Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA), 68-48 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, Catholic-B.R. notched a victory over University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA), 59-46, in a non-league test.
The Owls now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host West Jefferson for a 5A District 8 test on Friday, January 27.
