In Wednesday's league outing, the Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR) basketball squad felled the visiting South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR), by a margin of 55-42.

The Bruins (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Glide (Glide, OR). The Wildcats go into the 3A Far West outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Glide was knocked off by Cascade Christian (Medford, OR), 75-35, in a league bout.

Next up, the Lancers play the North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR) in a 3A Far West bout, on Friday, January 27. South Umpqua will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 61-42 league win over Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR).
