In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Plainfield South Cougars basketball team scored a tight 49-46 triumph over the Lockport Porters.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie match, on Friday, January 27. Plainfield South will attempt to move on its 11-14 season record.
