The Winnebago Indians basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Marengo Indians to 16 in the Indians non-league win on Wednesday.
The Indians (13-9) will now prepare for their outing against Dixon (Dixon, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses go into the Big Northern outing with a 15-8 record. In their last outing, Dixon smashed Sycamore (Sycamore, IL), 61-49, in a non-league outing.
The Indians now own a 0-24 record. They play next when they host Woodstock North for a Kishwaukee River outing on Friday, January 27. Marengo will clash with a Thunder squad coming off a 77-62 non-league loss to Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Thunder record now stands at 10-13.
