Oregon High School Basketball - Sutherlin topped by North Valley

The North Valley Knights basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Sutherlin Bulldogs to 42 in the Knights league victory on Wednesday.
The Knights now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Umpqua for a 3A Far West contest on Friday, January 27. North Valley will battle a Lancers team coming off a 55-42 league loss to Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 8-10.
The Bulldogs (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR). The Challengers come into the 3A Far West contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Cascade Christian prevailed over Glide (Glide, OR), 75-35, in a league contest.
