In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH), by a margin of 46-45.
The Redmen (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Trojans go into the Ohio Valley outing with a 5-10 record. In their last outing, Portsmouth held off Fairland (Proctorville, OH), 80-69, in a league outing.
The Vikings now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Western for a Southern Ohio I outing on Saturday, January 28. Symmes Valley will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 45-31 league win over Glenwood (New Boston, OH). The Indians record now stands at 10-9.
