Jefferson Saints (Edgewater, CO) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Arrupe Jesuit Generals (Denver, CO), 30-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign.

Next up, the Generals play the Stargate School Eagles (Thornton, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Arrupe Jesuit will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 67-44 league loss to Manual (Denver, CO).
