In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), by a margin of 55-31.
The Redwings (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league outing with a 12-14 record. In their last outing, Joliet Catholic was trounced by Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 60-30, in a league outing.
The Friars now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they host St. Laurence for a Girls Catholic - White outing on Monday, January 30. Fenwick will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 46-39 non-league win over Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 14-12.
