The Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL) basketball felled the visiting Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL), 48-36 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Trojans (26-0) will now prepare for their test against Fairfield (Fairfield, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-16 record. In their last test, Fairfield was beaten by Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL), 65-40, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 24-3 record. They play next when they host James Clemens for a 7A Area 8 test on Friday, January 27. Bob Jones will encounter a Jets squad coming off a 62-53 league win over Florence (Florence, AL). The Jets record now stands at 9-6.
