The South Umpqua Lancers basketball team (Myrtle Creek, OR), dropped 59-39 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR)

The Bruins now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glide for a 3A Far West battle on Friday, January 27. Brookings-Harbor will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 45-23 league loss to Cascade Christian (Medford, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-11.

The Lancers (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights come into the 3A Far West battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, North Valley dropped by Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR), 47-10, in a league battle.
