Maine High School Basketball - Thornton Academy falls to Cheverus

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Cheverus Stags basketball team scored a good 49-35 triumph over the Thornton Academy Trojans.
In their next game, the Stags meet the Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME) in a AA North match, on Saturday, January 28. Cheverus will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 52-23 non-league win over Morse (Bath, ME).
