Desert Christian Eagles (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sequoia Pathway Academy Pumas (Maricopa, AZ), 45-7 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Desert Christian upgrades its record to 17-8 on the season. The Eagles host San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ) to clash with the Sabercats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Sabercats go into the bout with a record of 9-13. San Tan Foothills lost 61-23 in their recent league bout against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ)

Next up, the Pumas clash with the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves (Tucson, AZ) in a 2A South bout, on Friday, January 27. Sequoia Pathway Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 42-38 non-league loss to Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ).
