Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) and the visiting Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR), saw Lakeview's basketball squad wallop Douglas by a tally of 66-16.

With the victory, Lakeview improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Honkers host Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Far West challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 18-2. Sutherlin won 45-31 in their recent league challenge against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR)

Next up, the Trojans play the Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR) in a 3A Far West test, on Friday, January 27. Douglas will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Chieftains go into the test with a 1-15 record after their 46-25 league loss to Coquille (Coquille, OR).
