Virginia High School Basketball - Granby trounces Gloucester

The Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) basketball crushed the host Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA), 42-21 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Comets (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Mustangs go into the Eastern test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Manor was trounced by Norview (Norfolk, VA), 80-56, in a league test.
The Dukes now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Woodside for a Peninsula test on Friday, January 27. Gloucester will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 43-34 league win over Heritage (Newport News, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-6.
