The Hayfork Timberjacks basketball team (Hayfork, CA), dropped 37-21 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host South Fork Cubs (Miranda, CA)
The Cubs now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Bernard's for a Humboldt-Del Norte - Little 5 battle on Thursday, January 26. South Fork will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 40-27 non-league win over Trinity (Weaverville, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 18-2.
The Timberjacks (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Dunsmuir (Dunsmuir, CA). The Tigers come into the Evergreen battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Dunsmuir dropped by Tulelake (Tulelake, CA), 47-31, in a league battle.
