The Math Civics & Sciences Mighty Elephants basketball team (Philadelphia, PA), was overwhelmed 50-24 in Wednesday's league battle with the host High School of the Future (Philadelphia, PA)

The now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Girard Academic Music Program for a Philadelphia Public - American battle on Friday, January 27. High School of the Future will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 34-9 league loss to West Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-8.

The Mighty Elephants (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech (Philadelphia, PA). The come into the Philadelphia Public - American battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech was overwhelmed by Masterman (Philadelphia, PA), 39-31, in a league battle.
