The Lackey Chargers basketball team (Indian Head, MD), was nudged 42-35 in Wednesday's league battle with the host North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD)
The Eagles now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patuxent for a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, January 27.
The Chargers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers come into the Southern Maryland battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Calvert edged Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 37-23, in a league battle.
