In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Community Braves soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the North Lamar Panthers.
The Braves (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX). The go into the 4A Region 2 District 12 battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Sunnyvale nipped Aubrey (Aubrey, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Anna (Anna, TX). The Coyotes go into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Anna nipped Vanguard Academy Rembrandt (Pharr, TX), 14-0, in a non-league battle.
