Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC), 76-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eastern Randolph upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC) to play the Warriors in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Wheatmore won 47-43 in their recent league bout against Trinity (Trinity, NC)

Next up, the Bears play the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 27. Chatham Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 46-32 league win over Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC).
