In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Reed-Custer Comets basketball team scored a good 37-21 triumph over the Grant Park Dragons.
In their next game, the Comets meet the Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 28. Reed-Custer will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
With the defeat, Grant Park moves to 7-8 on the year. The Dragons travel to Manteno (Manteno, IL) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, January 27. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 2-0. Manteno won 53-27 in their recent league match against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL)
