The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Ponderosa Bruins to 47 in the Miners league triumph on Wednesday.

The Miners now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a contest on Friday, January 27. Nevada Union will meet a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 46-43 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 17-3.

The Bruins (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen enter the contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Placer ran past Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 74-32, in a league contest.
