Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) and the host Orland Trojans (Orland, CA), saw Shasta's basketball squad overcome Orland by a tally of 71-61.

With the victory, Shasta improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Chico (Chico, CA) to confront the Panthers in a challenge on Friday, January 27. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Chico won 62-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Oroville Tigers (Oroville, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Orland will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record.
