The Oneida Nation Thunderhawks (Oneida, WI) basketball knocked off the host Algoma Wolves (Algoma, WI), 60-51 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Thunderhawks (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Gillett (Gillett, WI). The Tigers go into the Marinette & Oconto test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Gillett went down by Crivitz (Crivitz, WI), 73-68, in a league test.
The Wolves now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Oconto for a Packerland test on Saturday, January 27. Algoma will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 74-58 league loss to Sturgeon Bay (Sturgeon Bay, WI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-6.
