Washington High School Basketball - Tonasket nips Bridgeport

January 25, 2024: Tonasket, WA 98855

Tonasket Tigers (Tonasket, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bridgeport Mustangs (Bridgeport, WA), 58-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Tonasket upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Tigers host Lake Roosevelt (Coulee Dam, WA) to play the Raiders in a 2B Central Washington bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 18-0. Lake Roosevelt won 72-66 in their recent league bout against Liberty Bell (Winthrop, WA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Waterville Shockers (Waterville, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Bridgeport will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Shockers go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Entiat (Entiat, WA).
