In Thursday's non-league outing, the Gloucester Catholic Rams (Gloucester City, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Overbrook Rams (Pine Hill, NJ), by a count of 50-48.

The Rams (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the non-league outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Hammonton held off Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ), 54-46, in a league outing.

The Rams now hold a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hightstown for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 27. Overbrook will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 46-44 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 9-8.
