North Carolina High School Basketball - Lab University Prep Regional topped by Greater Cabarrus Stallions

The Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Lab University Prep Regional Lab Rats to 45 in the Stallions non-league victory on Thursday.

The Stallions now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Surry HomeSchool for a North Carolina Home Education - West contest on Friday, January 26. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will battle a Runnin' Patriots team coming off a 68-54 league loss to Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC). The Runnin' Patriots record now stands at 12-15.

The Lab Rats (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against NorthPoint Christian Academy (Waxhaw, NC). The NightHawks come into the Metro Area contest with a 11-6 record.
