Homestead Broncos (Homestead, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Varela Vipers (Miami, FL), 69-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Homestead upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Broncos host Palm Glades Prep Academy (Miami, FL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Palm Glades Prep Academy won 43-37 in their recent non-league bout against Mater Academy Bay (Cutler Bay, FL)

Next up, the Vipers play the Ferguson Falcons (Miami, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Varela will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record.
