Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) and the host Killingly Redmen (Killingly, CT), saw Waterford's basketball squad knock off Killingly by a count of 57-46.

With the victory, Waterford upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Windham (Willimantic, CT) to play the Whippets in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Whippets come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Windham lost 88-64 in their recent league challenge against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT)

Next up, the Redmen play the New London Whalers (New London, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Killingly will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Whalers come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 77-59 league win over East Lyme (East Lyme, CT).
