Kinta Eagles (Kinta, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Leflore Savages (Leflore, OK), 55-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kinta upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Moss (Holdenville, OK) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 6-13. Moss lost 53-44 in their recent non-league bout against Konawa (Konawa, OK)

Next up, the Savages play the Pittsburg Panthers (Pittsburg, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Leflore will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 55-33 non-league win over Calvin (Calvin, OK).
