The Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) basketball nipped the host Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY), 46-45 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Patriots (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Morgan County was tipped by Breathitt County (Jackson, KY), 89-75, in a non-league test.
