In Thursday's non-league outing, the Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting Pine Raiders (Franklinton, LA), by a margin of 77-58.
The Eagles (14-6) will now prepare for their outing against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the 5A District 5 outing with a 24-3 record. In their last outing, Denham Springs defeated Live Oak (Watson, LA), 79-75, in a league outing.
The Raiders now own a 11-13 record. They play next when they host Amite for a 3A District 7 outing on Friday, January 26. Pine will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 79-47 league win over Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-11.
