The Marty Indian Braves basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the host Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks to 27 in the Braves non-league victory on Thursday.
The Braves now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lower Brule for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Marty Indian will battle a Sioux team coming off a 78-32 non-league win over Takini (Howes, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 6-6.
The Thunderhawks (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Takini (Howes, SD). The Skyhawks come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Takini was routed by Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD), 78-32, in a non-league contest.
