The Mercer County Golden Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Morrison Mustangs to 46 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles now have a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host ROWVA/Williamsfield for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 30.

With the defeat, Morrison moves to 5-14 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Riverdale (Port Byron, IL) to meet the Rams in a Three Rivers - West match on Friday, January 26.
