The Varsity Opponent basketball team scored 75 points and held the host New Hope Leadership Academy Gladiators to 67 in the non-league win on Thursday.

With the win, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 313-1158 on the season. The travel to Temple Christian (Flower Mound, TX) to play the Watchmen in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Watchmen go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Temple Christian lost 59-28 in their recent non-league bout against Victory Baptist Academy (Weatherford, TX)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Anderson Cavaliers Cavaliers (Anderson, SC) in a Freelance bout, on Monday, January 29. New Hope Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 63-59 league loss to New Hope Leadership Academy (Columbia, SC).
