The Reed Olympians basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting New Orleans Charter Science & Math Chambered Nautilus to 38 in the Olympians non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Olympians now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carver Collegiate Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Reed will meet a Rams team coming off a 72-66 non-league win over Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Rams record now stands at 16-8.
The Chambered Nautilus (6-19) will now prepare for their contest against Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA). The Olympians enter the Freelance contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Sarah T. Reed ran past Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA), 55-47, in a league contest.
