Oak Ridge Military Academy Eagles (Oak Ridge, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Winston-Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC), 58-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Oak Ridge Military Academy upgrades its record to 28-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC) to clash with the Firebirds in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Phoenix Academy lost 45-39 in their recent non-league bout against Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Quality Education Academy Fighting Pharaohs (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Winston-Salem Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record.
