The Pascack Valley Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Rutherford Bulldogs to 44 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teaneck for a Big North - National contest on Tuesday, January 30. Pascack Valley will battle a Highwaymen team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Highwaymen record now stands at 14-5.

The Bulldogs (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ). The Golden Bears come into the Northwest Jersey - National contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Lyndhurst was defeated by Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ), 79-76, in a non-league contest.
