The Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) basketball crushed the host Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL), 72-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Stampede (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Central (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Falcons go into the 6A Area 6 test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, Central walloped Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL), 54-43, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Greene County for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Sipsey Valley will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 55-48 non-league win over Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-19.
