Pembroke Spartans (Pembroke, NH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Plymouth Bobcats (Plymouth, NH), 69-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pembroke upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH) to play the The Pride in a Division II bout on Friday, January 26. The The Pride come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Merrimack Valley won 52-48 in their recent league bout against Manchester West (Manchester, NH)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Bishop Brady Giants (Concord, NH) in a Division II bout, on Monday, January 29. Plymouth will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Giants come into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 60-33 league loss to Souhegan (Amherst, NH).
